Monday Already?
This weekend flew by!! It was pretty uneventful. Friday night we decided to go grab dinner and catch a 10:30 showing of Hot Fuzz. We went to dinner at this Hibatchi grill resturant near our house. It was a nice show but took forever! So we missed the movie. We went to Wal-Mart bought an answering machine & a spull of blank DVDs. Paul had downloaded Hot Fuzz and tried to burn it but he failed me. So we came home and played Wii and watched TV until I fell asleep on the couch. Saturday we woke up early and hit some garage sales. This was Disco's first garage sale experience. She was great! We took her to a flea market at a church & she wow'd everyone. This one lady said her husband used to train Sheps for the police Dept. She bent down & asked Disco to sit. What did she do? She sat. She asked her to shake. She shook! I was so proud but relieved that she didn't ask her to do any other tricks because that's where it ends. I spent the rest of the afternoon with my mom. We went to dinner with one of my step-dad's fraternity brothers. Fun Fun!
The next day we slept in. Then we went to Macy's & Target. Nick cut grass and I made cookies & cleaned house. It was a pretty good Sunday. It always reminds Brandon of Will Ferrell's line from Old School..“Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper; maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.” ha ha.. Well that was about it for our weekend. Now it's Monday!!

We were behind this guy at McDonalds this morning on the way to work. He was going golfing. It's so pretty outside and I hate this guy for that. I can't wait to retire.

Not sure where this picture came from.

Jesus digs the Bass.
Once again I have found myself watching the clock. It's only 408 cst. I have just under 3 hours left before I finish up my work week. The weekend is still a mess in my mind of 1/2 made & 1/2 imagined plans. It will likely be the usual. Sitting on the couch until I fall asleep. Like I said before I don't have a lot of $$ to make a lot of plans this weekend. I would be content withgiving the next 3 hours of my life to God. Here is is Lord... take these 3 hours of my life and make it 7 already. I don't need them back. You can remind me of this on my last day on Earth and I will understand that I was selfish & gave you back 3 hours on May 4th of 2007. My mind is tangled. I am physically sitting at my desk but my mind is all over the place. A little bit is here, a little there, a little over yonder. The rain is coming down outside. That's nice. I bought a weeping willow and my hose pipe does not reach the side of the house. One of my co-workers just said, "look at the rain. Jesus is coming back. It's poring out there." Another co-worker replies with , "There's porn out there?"
The End.

Friday is Here!! It's a really slow day at work. I keep looking at the clock and I swear everytime I look it's an hour behind. I just checked my watch against the computer clock and the time is right. Such a long day. I wish I had big plans for the weekend. But eventhough it's payday funds will be tight. Great shows in Memphis this weekend with the Beale Street Music Festival. The Allman Brothers play tonight and tomorrow Keller Williams plays. Closer to home is Murfreesborro's JazzFest. I have never been & have not heard anything good about it aside from it being Free & Pet Friendly. Tonight in Nashville Hank Jr. is playing with Skynyrd at the nashville arena. The tickets were overpriced. Guess who is going? My Dad. A few years ago my best friend, Amber bought him a ticket and he bailed last minute. He has never been a fan. But his new family wanted him to go so I guess it's game on. Jealous? Yep. I guess. He just does not seem to have time for us all. That's cool. The last show I went to with my Dad was in Austin at The Backyard. Panic played. My stepmom went and sat against the bathroom with her head down between her legs. My Dad after spending all of that money had to leave. Well he didn't have to... he had a choice but you know how we women are. If he had not left I am sure he would have caught heck. I would love to be a bug on the wall tonight & see if she sits there with her head between her legs. Ha! Oh well. She's a great lady. Her family is really nice too. It's just with my Dad changing and confirming to their way of life Brandon & I just don't have anything in common with him anymore.
Onto something else... Saturday is the 3rd anniversary of my Uncle's passing. I lost it lastnight because I remembered the last time I saw him was 2 nights before he died. That night we talked about who we were going to see at Bonnaroo. He was trying to call which songs the dead were going to play. He really looked forward to Bonnaroo. It was something real special. He had just splurged and bought his first pair of Birkenstocks. I was still wearing Faded Glory Jesus Sandals. I gave him so much crap about spending money on Birkenstocks while mine looked just as good as his. Funny now I have 2 pair of Birkenstocks & would never think of wearing Generic Jesus Sandals again. He taught me a lot and I miss him everyday and will for the rest of my life.

Thursday May 3rd 2007
It's Thursday. That means tomorrow is Friday. This is a good thing. I was off work yesterday for my middle of the week day of rest. Enjoyed lunch with My grandparents and lil' sis at Famous Daves and then headed to the west side of town. Not much going on. It's been fun having Nick home at night these past few days. His department closed so he's in training for a new position. He gets off at 5pm. So we have been catching him up on the great Spring tv shows & spending time with Disco. Wednesday is always a good night for the DVR box. We DVR American Idol, Jericho, & Road Rules. I have not watched Road Rules yet. Jericho was awesome as usual. Next week is the season finale. I sure hope they bring the show back next year. We have really enjoyed it. Next up was American Idol. It's not that great this year but I have still been following it. Not voting for anyone but I would like to see Melinda or Blake win this year. That's all for our tv viewing on Wednesday.

Wednesday was a big day for Disco. She learned to sit. Nick says she doesn't understand the word sit she just sees a treat and sits down. I disagree and firmly believe I have a dog genius. Nick tried to teach her to roll over but I decided she is a one trick per day kind of dog.
That is about it for now.
Peace,
Steph
Me, Memaw, & Pepes on the road last week.
I took this one for Nick. It's the Lego store in the Potomoc Mills Mall in Virgina.

I love taking pictures & sharing them with the people that I do not get to see everyday. I decided that I would start a photo blog that way I do not overload my friends & family's inbox everyday. I hope you enjoy. If you have any comments please hit me up at www.myspace.com/wspsteph Here are a couple of pictures that I have from Today & Sunday. 1.) My foot propped up on my opti @ work. 2.) Disco enjoying a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. 3.) My new Kitchen Decor.
