Friday is Here!! It's a really slow day at work. I keep looking at the clock and I swear everytime I look it's an hour behind. I just checked my watch against the computer clock and the time is right. Such a long day. I wish I had big plans for the weekend. But eventhough it's payday funds will be tight. Great shows in Memphis this weekend with the Beale Street Music Festival. The Allman Brothers play tonight and tomorrow Keller Williams plays. Closer to home is Murfreesborro's JazzFest. I have never been & have not heard anything good about it aside from it being Free & Pet Friendly. Tonight in Nashville Hank Jr. is playing with Skynyrd at the nashville arena. The tickets were overpriced. Guess who is going? My Dad. A few years ago my best friend, Amber bought him a ticket and he bailed last minute. He has never been a fan. But his new family wanted him to go so I guess it's game on. Jealous? Yep. I guess. He just does not seem to have time for us all. That's cool. The last show I went to with my Dad was in Austin at The Backyard. Panic played. My stepmom went and sat against the bathroom with her head down between her legs. My Dad after spending all of that money had to leave. Well he didn't have to... he had a choice but you know how we women are. If he had not left I am sure he would have caught heck. I would love to be a bug on the wall tonight & see if she sits there with her head between her legs. Ha! Oh well. She's a great lady. Her family is really nice too. It's just with my Dad changing and confirming to their way of life Brandon & I just don't have anything in common with him anymore.
Onto something else... Saturday is the 3rd anniversary of my Uncle's passing. I lost it lastnight because I remembered the last time I saw him was 2 nights before he died. That night we talked about who we were going to see at Bonnaroo. He was trying to call which songs the dead were going to play. He really looked forward to Bonnaroo. It was something real special. He had just splurged and bought his first pair of Birkenstocks. I was still wearing Faded Glory Jesus Sandals. I gave him so much crap about spending money on Birkenstocks while mine looked just as good as his. Funny now I have 2 pair of Birkenstocks & would never think of wearing Generic Jesus Sandals again. He taught me a lot and I miss him everyday and will for the rest of my life. "I loved my uncle, God rest his soul,Taught me good, Lord, Taught me all I know." - Grateful Dead's Me & My Uncle
Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks for reading.
No Bad Vibes, Steph
Uncle Kenny with a friend he met at Bonnaroo.

This one is kind of hard to see. But it means a lot to me.. It's of Me & My uncle sometime around 85 or 86.
